Meet Kelly Denise
Founder & Lead Event Planner
Creativity and hospitality have always been part of who I am. From drawing on my mother’s carpet as a little girl to planning meaningful celebrations today, I’ve always loved bringing people together and making them feel welcomed, valued, and celebrated.
After earning my degree in Hospitality Management from Monroe College in 2009, I gained experience in hotels, large-scale events, and working alongside event planners who helped shape my journey.
With encouragement from my family, a pastor who recognized my gift before I fully recognized it myself, and faith guiding my path, I founded Kelly Denise Events in 2016.
Today, I also serve as Event Manager at Renaissance Church in Harlem, NYC, continuing my passion for creating thoughtful, memorable experiences.
A decade later, my purpose remains the same: to create beautiful celebrations filled with intention, meaningful details, and heart.
My Approach to Planning
For me, every event begins with understanding the people behind the celebration.
I believe in thoughtful details, genuine hospitality, and creating an atmosphere where guests feel welcomed, valued, and cared for.
